In short, a super lamp that is very versatile and also easy to install. The only regret is that you cannot start the custom color combinations and the effects with your voice. The lamp is configured with google home, and works perfectly, on/off, change intensity, change color, etc. Sometimes it is not always clear where all the options are and I also found it a bit difficult to find where you can color the lamp yourself in a pattern to your liking. However, the app is the only major drawback in my opinion. The LifX beam can easily handle any color, and you can also set different animations via the app so that the colors move across the beam. When you set it to 100% it gives almost as much light as my 6 LED spots hanging from the ceiling.
The lamp gives more than enough light to illuminate my entire room at only 50% brightness. The lamp has a very sleek and modern design and will probably fit well in most places. The lamp is easy to install with 3m tape and velcro combination. It fits perfectly in the corner of my desk. When I saw the LifX Beam I was immediately sold. I had been looking for some extra light at my desk for a while.
